Common setup checks
- Microphone: In Android settings, allow microphone access for Saylio. Recording must be started by you.
- Floating voice button: Enable “Display over other apps” for Saylio, then turn on the floating button in Saylio settings.
- Automatic text insertion: Enable the Saylio service in Android Accessibility settings. Saylio rejects password fields and does not press Send.
- No transcription result: Check your internet connection, then try a short recording again. Keep the app open if Android has restricted background activity.
- Incorrect transcript: Confirm the selected language and writing mode, speak close to the microphone, and review the editable result before using it.
Delete your Saylio account and data
Recommended: Use the authenticated deletion action inside Saylio before uninstalling the app or clearing its storage.
- Open Saylio.
- Open Settings.
- Select Delete account and data.
- Select Delete permanently and confirm.
When deletion succeeds, Saylio hard-deletes the anonymous Supabase Auth user and linked usage, processing, and concurrency records; clears the encrypted session and device key; removes local preferences, optional transcript history, and temporary Saylio audio; and returns the app to onboarding.
If no server account has been created, the action deletes local Saylio data only. If deletion fails, the app keeps the current session and local data so you can retry.
Deletion requests by email
You may contact info@astraledgestudios.com for assistance. Saylio accounts are anonymous: we do not hold a name, email address, or password linked to the backend identifier. For that reason, we may be unable to locate or verify a specific anonymous record after the app or its encrypted session has been removed. The in-app deletion flow is the reliable way to authenticate and delete the associated record.
What to include when contacting support
Tell us your Android version, device model, what you expected, and what happened. Do not email recordings, transcripts, passwords, access tokens, or other sensitive information.
